La Casaccia di Franceschi was born from a desire of Leopoldo Franceschi, a fifth-generation wine producer, to combine the ancient tradition of our lands and his experience in a more dynamic farm model, which best meets modern needs.
His young sons Flavia and Federico joined him in this project, for a cohesive intergenerational collaboration.
The project begins with the purchase and planting of some land located above S.Angelo in Colle, an optimal location thanks to its ecosystem and soil, which combined allow the wine to acquire unique characteristics.
Also, for this reason, in respect of the territory and its biodiversity, the company strives to use biological methods for crops seeking a balance between ecology and performance to finished product.
Still growing La Casaccia di Franceschi can already boast diversified crops including olive groves and truffle, which are the background to the main protagonists, the vineyards.
