ANDREA MACHETTI IS THE NEW DIRECTOR OF THE BRUNELLO DI MONTALCINO CONSORTIUM

(Montalcino - SI, 9 February 2023). Andrea Machetti is the new director of the Brunello di Montalcino consortium, designated by the board of the consortium, Andrea Machetti takes over from Michele Fontana in charge from June 2020 until December 2022.

“We are greatly satisfied that Andrea Machetti accepted the assignment – ​​comments the President Fabrizio Bindocci - first of all because he is a successful and very high-profile manager, with a profound knowledge of the territory, of the Brunello brand and of market dynamics. Furthermore, Machetti was born and raised in this oenological microcosm dedicated to excellence and which has become, thanks to the qualitative research of the producers, an icon-wine of Made in Italy in the world.
