Ciacci Piccolomini d’Aragona estate is located on the South East hillside of Montalcino, close to the medieval village of Castelnuovo dell’Abate and to the famous Abbey of Sant’Antimo. The entire estate, extending over 195 hectares of which 50 are in vines and less than 30 in olive groves, sets between Arna hill and the Orcia River, with a soil textured of medium grain with good levels of marl and shale. In 1985, after the end of the Ciacci Piccolomini d’Aragona family, Giuseppe Bianchini establishes the winery, managed today by his sons and nephews.
